This is How I Roll 7-8-10

So today was an interesting day in itself……things I have learned again and again is patience. You get to learn again something new about me. I am a great cook and so I have been told. At the same time I am accustomed to cooking for my family only. With that said when I get asked to cook for others I freak out big time. I should learn to say no but I cant when it comes to that. I am a freehand and rarely use a recipe for that fact I barely now how to read a recipe and follow it exact anyway. So needless to say panic sets in and I cant seem to get a grip. So I pondered and pondered on this meal and decided on a oriental chicken salad out of bag and I made my own oriental chicken breast to go with it…….oh man that chicken was so good…..anyway it was 95 degrees, AC broke and I was HOT,HOT,HOT……So I drove to my friends house to deliver a present and a couple of dinners and things did not pan out the way they should have because I did not call first as I should have. Left the present on the door and took the food home. Hey the meal my friend made was a great dinner for my family…..Thanks!!!

After we left my friends house went home put the food away and went out to the lake. Tyler is at Tre’s house and Brandon was hot and had a headache so he stayed home. At this time it is naptime and I beg Courtney to please take a nap on the 30 min drive to the lake…..NOPE not happening. We get to the lake and we unload all our stuff and get a spot. We took all the kids to the water…..friend had two and I had two and we float right in to cool off. Anyway we make a great afternoon of it until Cameron breaks down……and throws a huge fit. We go home and the busy night begins! That’s it for the day………nothing really fun or interesting except now you all have learned that I don’t know how to cook for others. Maybe it is not so much I don’t know how to more of the fact that I lack the confidence too. A fear I shall overcome soon! This is how I roll!
