Girls in the Bathroom

Oh you know you are old when you go to the bathroom while camping and the young girls are in there doing their hair and makeup. Now I know that someone out there is saying Becca I still do that and some of you are saying what??? Becca you don’t do that? Well not anymore. When I camp I barely remember to brush my hair. Now I will still sometimes do my make up but not much anymore. This young lady in the bathroom was a dear and said Good Morning and I said hello back. The I said you know I was young once too. Here’s the difference ladies……..Remember back to when we were teens in the late 80’s and early 90’s mine particularly was , 91, 92, 93 BIG HAIR was in……We went camping in May of 92 and us girls in the bathroom with our brushes and blow-dryers teasing our hair as big as we could putting our barrettes in just right so our hair would poof real good… oh and don’t forget the aqua net to make sure it stayed…..Then out came the eyeliner and the lighters get it nice and hot so it went on real thick……okay okay well not much has changed sometime poofy hair for me and sometimes pretty dark makeup…..Well the difference still is now it is all about the straightener. Who on earth invented that? That is a “must need” in our lives today. Pretty funny….she was a dear and brought me way to back to my teenage years of hair and makeup……wonder what happened?
