HIGH SEA'S 2

Come on lets go…. We have to go on a High Sea’s expedition! Now we have already covered days 1 and 2 so now we are on Days 3 and 4. So I last left you on we had discussed Paul’s ship in the storm on their way to Rome well the ship has wrecked and they are on the island and he was bit by a poisonous snake……Okay, Okay, Miss Becca might have got a little excited about that and scared a couple of the kiddos in the process of my snake jumping out of the fire……We recovered well and as far as I know they are still like me and no one cries when it is time to come to story time. So now day 4 we have now gone back to Peter and we introduced the kids to a new friend John. So Peter and John are headed to the church but run into the beggar and Peter tells him in the name of Jesus get up you can walk and he then walks and jumps and all the crowd gathers around and Peter and John share the “good” news…….Well the kids got to put gauze all over their crew leader and she played as the beggar……..I think working with the crew leaders on some of these were tuff they are so funny and all the leaders happen to be girls but a couple of them had to keep correcting me when I said HE or HIM but it had to be the beggar was a male……cant change a true story…..Then I had one crew where I guess in bible times they didn’t talk like I was but we were having fun so all the girls could do is laugh at me…….please tell me what is wrong with Peter and John having the conversation on the way to church that sounded a little like this……..Peter “John, what’s up man you ready to go to church” John “yea Peter lets go up to the church man”

I had fun with it anyway…………How are we to judge how they talked I bet they even said cool and awesome at times!!!!! Well VBS day 5 is near, then we will have to say goodbye for another year
