Love and a whole lot more

      Love it is a pretty strong word. With that word comes a lot of emotions. Feelings of happiness, sadness, anger, contentment. So this weekend at the retreat was kind of hitting home to me. It is funny the question, Who are you? Isn’t that what I seem to blog on quite a bit. So brings back to Love and the most awesome love of all…..God’s. Many words to describe His love and the ladies came up with some wonderful ones. Mine always seem to be….. Merciful, graceful, unconditional, worthy, treasured. I am sure there hundreds more. For us and for Him. I always write about God’s grace. Why? simple answer, His grace sustains me. It is what I feel so compelling about our God. Wouldn’t you say His grace is enough? Some may say no but to me it is sustaining. That is in part to faith I suppose. Faith: is the confident belief or trust in the truth or trustworthiness of a person, concept or thing. Our faith is what keeps us going day to day. Our faith is what gives us hope in that promise on which we can not see. Our faith grows stronger in our beliefs. Such as our God is real and with us at all times. We put our trust and faith in Him. We  put our inner most thoughts, and Love in Him. I have a strong faith. Or at least I would like to think I do.

       So a small story or long you all know me. So this weekend at the staytreat we had some moments of quiet time. Something I simply do not get NO WAIT something I do make time for on a daily basis. during this quiet time a nice new friend of mine passed me a note and she said this is her go to verse at the moment time for her life. Jeremiah 29:11 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'……Something so amazing about that verse. The funny thing is I had that verse written on a previous page in my notebook. That is an awesome assuring verse to head to when things seem to be “off” in our lives. Anyone who knows me real well knows my other  favorite verses "The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17…….What are your thoughts when you read this? He is with you, He loves you, you are His?!!

      So during one of my quiet times not sure what was going on in my head but I wrote the following down……….. We all seem to argue with God on who we are. (that was a part in the notebook from this weekend) Which path He is taking us on or the choices he seems to be making when we wonder why? However, we are all fearfully and wonderfully made to His perfection. We are indeed beautiful. Each individual person created again in His perfect image. We are all different and that is what makes us special. Again each of us special because He made us. We need to remember as beautiful women and sisters in Christ we are fearfully and wonderfully made!!  So I sit back and reflect on that and wonder why I wrote that in the content that I did and I can not seem to be clear on why but assuming that we are all beautiful and made by the most wonderful creator of all!

       The last thing I will leave with tonight is in another quiet time we had we were to reflect and then we were to write out a prayer to God Thanking Him for who He is and for what He is doing in us……..So I wrote out my prayer and here it is. First let me say, we go to God in our time of need, sorrow, hurt, anger, love, praise. Do you ever sit there and just thank him for all that he has done for you even in your hardest of times. Okay here it goes. Father God, How amazing you are! How your love never fails us and never ceases to amaze me. Thank you father for your patience, love, and mercy. Most of all Father thank you for always walking by my side. Thank you for molding me and making me the woman I have become. It is all because of you! It is with great delight that I put my unfailing love and faith in you! AMEN

He Swallowed a What??

Not sure where to begin. Alright it is noon and Courtney is getting ready to take a nap and Cameron had just got in trouble so he needed to go to my room and take a rest. Court just went to bed and Cam is in my room. I sit down at the dining room table to finish some paperwork. I Have Missed.......

Well today was a good day. It was oh so HOT……I love it….okay well I love it as long as I can come in the house and cool off from time to time. Spent most of the day outside doing absolutely nothing except being kissed by the beautiful SUN!! My niece came over with my Great Nephew (thanks!) and we had a wonderful visit….Have I mentioned how precious he is? Cameron went to his first night at Mega Sports VBS and that was exciting for him. Tyler is camping at Dash Point with a friend. As for me and Courtney we went to Preston to go to the kids bounce place for a birthday party for Tucker. So while I was there I got to see the all the little ones I watch during the school year. Believe it or not I have missed that so much. As hard as it is to devote a day to kids all day with in reality no break can be difficult at times. Some days I was absolutely exhausted and some days I felt great. Safe Travel......To and From!

Travels……..So much to say and don’t know where to begin. Started my venture and decided 10 min. into the ride I was tired. I really dislike when that happens. I prayed immediately for safe travels……Thank you for those that took the time out to pray!! Travels were safe. Loud music and window down….dancing…..just to stay awake and make the run smooth. Let me first off start with I got some gas. Then I get into Puyallup and coffee is calling my name but decided hey I can wait. So what do you know……Starbucks on every corner and I wait to find the next one and NOTHING……….Keep driving, NOTHING…….Heavens to Pete I think by now I am going to die. So I am driving staying very content with the driver in front of me. A truck pulls out in front of him and he had no choice but to pass at that moment. So I got stuck behind this truck that is driving 35-40 in a 55 I finally get in a safe place to pass so I do.
