Life still never ceases to amaze me. OR is it God never ceases to amaze me?! Well which ever it is I am sure to accept. Life is busy. Brandon is home and getting acclimated to High School life and football. He is doing well. However he is keeping me on my toes more than ever. A few weeks ago maybe two he hurt his ankle playing football. That was a trip to Urgent care. It is still bothering him daily. Now onto randomness.

I am going to draw you a picture. NO, not literally but in your head. It is a good day. Tuesday it is. I have the two babies (they are both one) and then Courtney and Cameron. School was long for Cameron and I had made the mistake early in the day to tell the kids they start swimming lessons at 530. So all day Court wanting to get in her swimsuit and wanting to leave. We have finally have conquered most of the day. and the girls are getting ready to go home and it is 445 pm. we leave for swimming lessons and the kids have a wonderful time in the water! I pack up and come home and Mike had come to visit at the pool ad now has Brandon as the pool is at his school and practice is now over. Mike and Brandon decide to go say hi to some of the peeps at the Kent Knights and I head home with the younger ones. I am home for 20 minutes enough time to get C and C fed. The boys roll in and it is now time for me to run and pick up Tyler. Brandon is going to start our dinner that I have mostly ready for him and Mike is going to help. I leave at 640 to go pick up Tyler at soccer. I get half way there and Mike is calling me. Of course to myself I am saying good grief I have been gone for 7 minutes what is it now. I answer the phone Yes, Mike. He says pick up Tyler and get home immediately. Well I am like I am trying. So I call my friend who it at soccer and ask her to please bring Ty home. I turn around and get home and Mike is standing outside with Brandon and has his hand wrapped. He was opening the refried beans and the can did not open all the way so he pushed on the lid to force it the rest of the way. We get to urgent care. Now if you are close to me than you know Brandon is my baby when it come to shots and needles. We have always had to have more than one nurse etc. to give shots. He also is my only child who has not had to have stitches. It was not a pretty site getting in there and the dr getting that needle ready. My hand with a small sore and a lump on the inside where he had a grip and twisted it like he was wringing out a wash cloth (OUCH). It was an interesting trip to say the least. I forfeit future visits with Brandon if they include needles. Opting out now and sticking to it. Between the hysterical laughing (which I do when I am nervous or hurt also) and the no trust in the doctor and voicing our opinion about it. I am done!!! :0) Needless to say Between my hand and the yelling I am sure the whole building heard.

Tyler is on a great soccer team yet again and we are going to another hopeful season. So far Scorpions have won all games and tied one. They are playing good and hard. Tyler is off to a great start in Middle school with all A’s and one B. He is thankfully staying injury free at the moment. We have spent the last two years at this time of year in a cast for broken fingers. He still loves football and loves to watch The Royals play!

Cameron is the challenge at the moment. Homeschooling is going good. I often don’t have more than  a five minute period where he needs my help or I need to explain something to him. He doesn’t complain at all and is eager to get started by 730 every morning. We are still in the process of getting him into therapy and talking to his dr about different med options. He is in the process of being tested at the school district for an IEP and then we will decide at that time to put him back at school with his peers or keep him home. The process seems to be going really slow and I am truly disappointed in it. We started the process back in late August and it took me making the phone call before someone finally called me. Makes me sad that this is how it is these days. Hoping for God’s clear guidance and provision on this situation.

Courtney is back at Sunshine Mountain and thriving. She loves school. She has many friends there and loves her teachers. There is a good reason the school has been around for 30 years. We are starting to work daily on writing our name and doing the things a 4 year old should. She is happy at home and looks forward to the babies and Tristen coming over to play.

As for me I am busy coaching Cameron in school and taking care of the lil ones. I am truly blessed and have learned I am becoming a home body. Either that or it is just to much work to take them all out and about. We are on a great routine and the dynamic of the children are amazing. Pretty stress free and the kids love it. I find myself enjoying it more and more everyday minus the bad day here and there. Mike is a great help when he is here and just goes with the flow of the family. He works hard for our family. He enjoys watching the sports as well. I am sure if you asked him he would have his favorites and least for sure. He finally has Sundays off that is very exciting for us. He has been spending his first few with my family closing a chapter in our lives. Fixing up Grandma’s house as they get ready to sell it.

Life is life and we are enjoying it everyday!
