Christmas Music and Coffee!

Well it is that time again. I have not blogged in over a week and I have lots to blog about just have not known where to start. So this one I will start here. Let me tell you at this moment I am sitting here sipping a cup of coffee and listening to Christmas music….yes, you heard it from my mouth. No kids, relaxing! Wow not very often I am with no kids. Now I admit I should be sweeping and mopping and cleaning but you know that will have to wait for now. So Christmas music…yes, that is what I said and I know it is early but hey I am glad for it. So brings me to the Holidays…..Happy Thanksgiving all my beautiful friends. This is the time of year we remind ourselves over and over what we are thankful for. I like to be thankful all the time but so do most of you…It just comes out more this time of year. So I am thankful for each of you. I have said it before whether in my 1,2,or 3rd basket of friends you are all special to me and hold a very special place in my heart. I am thankful for each and every one of you and you all bring something GREAT to the table! Lets embrace this holiday season. I really have a love/hate relationship with this season. My love is for everything about it and my hate kinda drives towards people. They are so nasty, mean, and stressed……c’mon lets have a little joy in our hearts you scrooges. So brings me back to lets just embrace it all and enjoy. Share the good news of what God did for us and the birth of Jesus. He has shed grace and mercy on all of us and for that we need to celebrate!! Let’s be an example of Christ and show our love to all. Lets remember everyone out their is human and has feelings. Be kind to our fellow baristas, servers, clerks, and more. We should be out their giving Christians a good name not a bad name. I want to share my joy with all and embrace everything and everyone with open arms. Do you know one kind word to someone can change their whole day?! Do you know one flash of a smile can make someone feel welcomed, loved, or even some hope?! Friends this is just me giving us a reminder that we need to be Christ like and be authentic with those around us. Come with me out of our boxes this Holiday season and well I really don't know but lets try and step out a little more and make someone's day somewhere, sometime! Remember you are all AMAZING people and you are all fearfully and wonderfully made! My heartfelt love to each and everyone of you.

  1. And when it's hard to be that example of Christ and love that person remember it's not just us alone, but that God can give us the strength to love as He does 2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of sound mind.
